Role Description

VP Billing Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Account Manager with a strong background in dermatology billing. This role requires an experienced professional who can manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. As the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, you will build strong relationships with our clients while overseeing the end-to-end billing process to optimize their financial outcomes.

Qualifications

Account Management: Serve as the main contact for assigned dermatology accounts, fostering strong client relationships and providing exceptional service.

Revenue Cycle Oversight: Manage and monitor the entire billing cycle, from claim submission to payment, including charge entry, claim scrubbing, denial management, and follow-up.

Claims and Coding Expertise: Ensure dermatology-specific coding (CPT, ICD-10) and billing practices comply with industry standards and payer policies.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial reviews and analyses, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and solutions for optimizing revenue and cash flow.

Client Communication: Provide regular updates and reporting to clients, addressing any billing issues, answering inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with dermatology billing regulations and payer requirements, ensuring all billing activities are compliant.

Problem Solving: Address denials, rejections, and payment delays, working with insurance companies and other stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the VP Billing team, including medical billers, IT staff, and account executives, to streamline processes and meet client goals.
